For as long as I can remember, I've always been an Artist. My first art gallery made its debut in my mom's laundry room -- prime real estate, right? Finger paintings and my first brush strokes on display right next to the dryer sheets.
I fell in love with photography in particular when I was sixteen. I knew right then, in high school photo class, that this needed to be a part of my story. So now, I spend my days teaching some pretty awesome teenagers. I teach them to chase the golden light, perfect their focus, and to capture genuine moments as they see them. Seeing their passion grow really fills my soul.
In my 'spare time' you can find me watching way too much Fixer Upper, playing my little pony with a chatty toddler (while chasing a newly-mobile baby boy), and creating Pinterest boards for all of the home renovations my husband doesn't know he's doing yet (sorry, babe!)
I love capturing the moment between poses, the interactions between families, the love in a new parent's (tired) eyes. The ability to freeze those moments, those memories, is what makes photography so special to me.
Thank you for the honor of illustrating your story.
